Petra Kvitová is a female tennis player from the Czech Republic. Her current and career high ranking is World No. 10, which she achieved on May 9, 2011. She became the 6th Czech player to crack the Top 10.
Kvitova has won four singles titles, including the 2011 Mutua Madrid Open. She also reached the semifinals of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships, losing to eventual champion Serena Williams.
